5 Clever Tricks to Upgrade Your Frozen Pizza Quickly

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Red Baron® pizza. The opinions and text are all mine.

We rely on quick frozen pizza for easy lunches and busy weeknight dinners. As a mom with two school-age kids—one on a baseball team and the other on a soccer team—I keep a few dependable meals on hand for rushed evenings and unexpected hunger.

Red Baron® pizza has been my go-to for years. It’s a convenient mealtime solution and consistently delivers great flavor. Our favorite is the Red Baron® Classic Crust—just the right balance between thick and thin crusts, so everyone is happy.

I’ve picked up a few fun pizza hacks that make mealtime even easier and more enjoyable. They’ve earned me my imaginary Red Baron® Baroness #WingMama “Whatever Works” patch—because anything that simplifies the chaos of parenting is worth celebrating. Plus, serving frozen pizza usually secures my “Clean Plate Club” patch. What is a #WingMama? She’s the parent who handles everything with a “whatever works” attitude—from screen-time negotiations to monster hunts—encouraging other parents to embrace everyday messes instead of hiding from them. The Baroness is the ultimate #WingMama, complete with a bomber jacket covered in earned patches. Which patch will you earn?

Frozen Pizza Hacks

Grill It – You can grill frozen pizzas, which reduces kitchen cleanup and adds a smoky flavor. Start with the grill set to low and cook for about 10 minutes, then increase to medium and cook another 10 minutes or until the pizza reaches your preferred doneness.

Make a Smiley Face – Kids love this. Simply remove and rearrange the pepperoni into a smiley face. It’s an easy way to get children excited about dinner and they often enjoy helping design the face.

Cook Two at Once – If you need more than one pizza but don’t have space on the middle oven rack, cut each pizza in half and place the rounded edges toward the outside of the baking sheet. This trick lets you bake more at once without overcrowding.

Cut It Into Strips – For small hands, cut the pizza into strips instead of traditional wedges. Strips are easier for little fingers to hold and cause less floppy mess when kids are trying to eat independently.
