large
eggs -
1 1/2
cups
milk -
1/2
tsp
salt -
1/4
tsp
black pepper -
1/4
tsp
garlic powder
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
-
Separate the crescent roll dough into individual triangles. Place a fully cooked sausage link along the wide end of each triangle and roll toward the tip. Arrange the rolled crescents, tip side up, in the prepared baking dish until you have 16 pieces fitted side by side.
-
Evenly sprinkle the shredded sharp cheddar cheese over the rolled crescents.
-
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until blended. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cheese and crescents.
-
Bake for 30–40 minutes, until the eggs are set and the tops of the crescents are golden brown. Test by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out mostly clean. If the crescents need more time to cook through, tent the dish loosely with foil to prevent over-browning and continue baking until done.
-
Remove from the oven and let rest for about 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm and enjoy.
