Since I started using the Ninja Foodi—an Instant Pot with an air fryer attachment—I find myself reaching for fewer appliances. It delivers crisp, flavorful results with less oil and easy cleanup, so I’ve been experimenting with new low-carb recipes that make the most of the air fryer.
I’ve followed the keto diet since January and often pair chicken with pork rinds for a crunchy, carb-free coating. If you enjoyed my Air Fryer Fried Pickles, you’ll likely love these Keto Air Fryer Chicken Wings. The method is simple, easily customizable with your favorite spices, and perfect for a quick dinner or game-day snack.
Keto Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- Fresh chicken wings
- 3–4 large eggs
- 1 bag BBQ pork rinds
- Optional: your favorite spices (paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, cayenne, etc.)
Directions
Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry. Set them aside while you prepare the coating.
Place the bag of BBQ pork rinds into a food processor and pulse until they form fine crumbs. Transfer the crumbs to a medium bowl. If you like, stir in any dry spices now to flavor the coating.
Crack the eggs into another bowl and whisk until combined to create an egg wash.

Arrange an assembly line: chicken wings, egg wash, then pork rind crumbs. Dip each wing in the egg wash, then press into the pork rind crumbs until well coated. Place coated wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket—avoid overlapping so they crisp evenly.
Cook at 390°F (199°C) for 20 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through to brown both sides. Depending on the size of your air fryer and the wings, you may need to cook in batches.
Serve hot with celery sticks and ranch dressing, or your preferred dipping sauce. These wings are great on their own or paired with a simple salad or roasted vegetables.
