Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix

Ingredients
For the Cookie Jars:
- 1 cup plus 3 tablespoons 144 grams King Arthur Measure for Measure gluten-free flour blend
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt or 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons 72 grams brown sugar*
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons 72 grams cane sugar
- 1 cup 224 grams chocolate chips
- 1 cup 112 grams chopped pecans
For the Cookies:
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
Instructions
For the Mason Jar:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
- In a 32-ounce mason jar, layer the ingredients from the bottom: flour blend, brown sugar, white sugar, chocolate chips, and pecans. Use a funnel for even layers.
- Screw the lid on tightly and attach the printable gift tag with instructions for finishing the cookies.
- Decorate as you like and gift away!
For the Cookies:
- Add the butter, vanilla extract, and egg to a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer. Add the cookie mix and beat until fully combined. Cover and refrigerate for one hour or up to overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place 12 on the baking sheet. Bake 12–15 minutes until cookies are set and lightly browned on top. Repeat with remaining dough.
- Allow cookies to cool, then enjoy.
