With all the savory flavors of a classic Reuben sandwich, this hot, cheesy, gluten free Reuben dip is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
This post was created in collaboration with David’s Unforgettables and My Gluten Free Miami. All opinions are my own and I recommend only the products I use and enjoy.
Infamous Reuben Sandwich
The Reuben sandwich is a beloved classic: corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing on rye. It’s a simple combination that delivers big flavor.
For those with celiac disease or who avoid gluten, traditional rye bread isn’t an option. That’s where this gluten free Reuben dip comes in — it captures all the signature flavors without the bread, and it’s just as satisfying.

Thousand Island
David’s Unforgettables Balsamic Thousand Island dressing is one of my favorites. Their line includes standout options like balsamic BBQ sauce and balsamic honey mustard; each one is flavorful and versatile. I loved using their Thousand Island to give this dip authentic Reuben character.
All of David’s dressings and sauces are certified gluten free and non-GMO. They’re flavorful and convenient to have on hand for recipes or as a finishing sauce.
If you can’t find them locally, many of their products are available online or in regional stores. Using a quality Thousand Island dressing will elevate this dip and make the Reuben flavors pop.

Gluten Free Reuben Dip
I’m a dip lover — especially when they’re hot and cheesy. This Reuben dip is one of those irresistible apps that comes together quickly and delivers big taste. It’s ideal for game days, parties, or any gathering where you want a comforting, shareable snack.
The recipe is straightforward and fast: cream cheese and Thousand Island are combined, then mixed with chopped corned beef, sauerkraut and shredded Swiss. Bake until bubbly and golden at the edges, and you have a warm, creamy dip that captures the essence of a Reuben sandwich.

This gluten free Reuben dip scores high on flavor. Serve it with gluten free crackers, chips, or toasted gluten free “rye-style” bread to mimic that classic Reuben experience without gluten.
I expect this dip to become a favorite for anyone who misses the Reuben sandwich or simply loves a rich, cheesy appetizer. Using a quality Thousand Island dressing really takes it to the next level.
Happy gluten free eating!
