Keto & PSMF Turkey Burgers with Feta — Low-Carb Recipe

These juicy turkey feta burgers are addictive! Perfect for Ketovores, low-carbers, some carnivores and those doing PSMF (Protein Sparing Modified Fast). They’re moist and flavorful — you’ll never complain about dry turkey again.

Juicy Keto Feta Burgers for Keto and PSMF

In July 2021 I started including 2–3 PSMF days each week. If you’re unfamiliar with PSMF, consider reading a reputable overview to learn how it works and whether it’s right for you.

This turkey feta burger recipe was a lifesaver on PSMF. The first bite convinced me I could stick with the plan because they’re satisfying and easy to prepare.

PS: I lost 9 lbs in July and another 5 lbs in August after a three-month stall. These juicy turkey burgers helped me get through it!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb extra lean ground turkey
  • 3 tbsp liquid carton egg whites (or 2 fresh egg whites)
  • 4 oz reduced-fat feta, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp Italian or Greek seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place all ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Mix thoroughly with a fork or your hands until evenly combined.
  5. Form the mixture into 10 evenly sized patties and arrange them on the prepared sheet.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until cooked through and lightly browned.
  7. Serve hot or enjoy cold as a high-protein snack.

Notes

If you prefer a higher-fat keto, Ketovore or carnivore version, try these substitutions:

  • Swap ground turkey for ground lamb or beef.
  • Use a whole large egg instead of egg whites.
  • Use full-fat goat or sheep feta instead of reduced-fat feta.
  • Carnivores may omit the Italian/Greek seasoning if desired.
