On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mostly on newer spots, but I’m including a few places I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley. One of those staples is Beaumont. I recently picked up a breakfast burrito there and knew it deserved a spot on this list.

I love Beaumont for two main reasons: convenience and freshness. If you spend time in the Wasatch mountains, Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before a day outside. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through keeps it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. Typical fast-food burritos can leave me feeling greasy and sluggish, especially when I’m about to be active, but Beaumont strikes the right balance.

Beaumont’s breakfast burrito is packed with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn and bell peppers. What really elevates it is the sauce—always the key to a great breakfast burrito. The creamy tomatillo escabèche-style dressing adds brightness and depth, tying all the ingredients together.

Located between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers more than just a satisfying breakfast burrito. They serve great coffee and pastries, and their burrata salad is delicious. The cafe is consistent and reliable, whether you’re grabbing something quick or lingering for a meal.
A quick note about timing: good food brings a crowd. On weekends you’ll often see people gathered outside. If you’re just after coffee and pastries, don’t let that deter you—running in for a quick order or using the drive-through is easy. If you plan to sit and enjoy the patio or the well-styled interior, be prepared for a possible wait on busy weekend mornings.
I highly recommend Beaumont for a fresh, convenient breakfast before heading into the mountains or for a relaxed weekend stop. Their menu and atmosphere make it worth the visit.
