Ingredients:
6 cups prepared mashed potatoes
1/2 cup milk
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons parsley flakes
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a stand mixer or with a hand mixer, combine the mashed potatoes, milk, cream cheese, sour cream, parsley flakes, and garlic salt. Mix on medium speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping the bowl as needed to ensure even texture.
Transfer the potato mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish or casserole pan and spread it into an even layer. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, then scatter the cooked, crumbled bacon evenly.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes, until heated through and the cheese is melted. For a browned top, remove the foil during the last 5 minutes of baking.
Let rest a few minutes before serving.
